We only engage with reputable third-party vendors like MailChimp, Google Analytics, and MailPoet, which help us better serve our community and tailor our services. We carefully collect and store PII, personally identifiable information, including names, addresses, IP addresses, phone numbers, and emails when provided. We do not share any personal information to marketing campaigns, especially for profit, without consent of the individual user and the Museum. Since we do not engage in paid advertising on our website or our newsletters, we do not use cookies and your personal information is only stored for the Museum’s use. With permission, we use email addresses and mailing addresses to share our Newsletters through MailPoet, providing the option to “subscribe or unsubscribe” at any time through our website, through the newsletter, or by email and phone. If required, we respect the individual right to view or modify personal data collected by the Museum.

For donations to the Museum, we only collect and store personal information within our private systems. With permission, we only list or share corporate names, donors, and organizations on our website for our annual Making New York History event. If donating through the link on our newsletters, we protect and collect personal information through PayPal. Alternatively, we protect any donations conducted by phone or email as listed on our website’s Membership page.

All photographs on our website and newsletters comply with copyright laws and are shared with permission.
