Janno Lieber builds with billions. Lieber has tackled and delivered many of the city’s most complex transit projects - from 2017 as head of MTA Construction & Development agency, and since 2021 as Chair and CEO of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Prior to the MTA, Lieber managed the Silverstein rebuilding efforts at the World Trade Center as President of World Trade Center Properties LLC. For his achievements as a planner, builder, and public servant, The Skyscraper Museum salutes Janno Lieber with the Making New York History Award.
