New York City could not have grown into a great metropolis without its historic and efficient water-supply system. Starting at the watersheds in upstate New York, we will follow the flow through streams, tunnels, dams, and reservoirs to learn how these gravity systems deliver clean and safe drinking water to the city. Then, inspired by our water supply system, we will play Water Works, a fun card game where the objective is to be the first to build a completely leak-free pipeline! Ages 6+. RSVP Required.
This is an in-person program that meets at the Skyscraper Museum, 39 Battery Pl. Masks are required for indoor programs.
You must reserve a place for your child/family by clicking the RSVP button above. This will forward you to Eventbrite for sign-up. After registering, you will receive emails to confirm your attendance through a Google Form. If you do not confirm attendance by the Friday morning before the program, your places will be canceled. Every child should be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
