The Vincom Landmark 81 is located in Ho Chi Minh City. Also known by its colonial-era name, Saigon, the city of 8.45 million is the largest in Vietnam, a country in Southeast Asia with a total population of 92.6 million. Despite its size, Ho Chi Minh City has few skyscrapers, and the Vincom Landmark 81 is the only building taller than 300 m.
Vincom Landmark 81 is the central building of the Vinhomes Central Park Complex, which will include 17 residential and retail buildings when finished. The Landmark 81 is mixed-use with residential, retail, and office space. Its attractions include a 6-floor shopping mall, ice rink, IMAX movie theater, and games center in the base, a 450-room hotel, and a 360-degree observation deck.
At 461 m., the Vincom Landmark 81 is the tallest building in Vietnam. The unique shape of the building was inspired by the traditional bundle of bamboo, which represents strength and unity in Vietnamese culture. The building’s blue glass façade is covered with colorful lights to ensure that the building stands out both day and night.
