At 101 stories, LCT The Sharp Landmark Tower is the tallest of a complex of three residential skyscrapers that dominate the skyline of Haeundae Beach, a popular and affluent resort town in eastern Busan. Busan with nearly 3.5 million residents, is the premier tourists and port city of South Korea. Standing 412m (1,350 ft), The Sharp Landmark Tower is South Korea’s second tallest skyscraper after the 555m Lotte World Tower in Seoul.
Completing in 2019, the imposing resort complex was created as a major economic development project of the Busan Metropolitan Corporation and Triple Square (LCT) Consortium, a real estate development company. Featuring spectacular ocean views from the beachfront side, the trio of skyscrapers also includes a pair of 85-story apartment towers, a multi-level retail podium with a waterpark, casino, banquet hall, and roof garden. In total the residential buildings create 1,500 residential units, with 882 apartments for Korean nationals, 561 serviced apartments available to foreign investors, and 260 hotel rooms.
